Following: the post viewtopic.php?p=54345#p54345
I'm able to startup as 32bit and my Saphire ATI Radeon 5750 HD Vapor-x is working fine .

The problem comes starting up as 64bit, my system halts at

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::Start - waitFor Service(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out.

It's interesting that the system is not hanging or it's not stopped. Attaching an USB disk, in example, I can see on the console the USB attach message. It's look like the Graphic for any reason does not start

here my com.apple.Boot.plist

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string></string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>1</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

Have you set Graphics Enabler to Yes?

Yes, from my com.apple.Boot.plist:

<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>

Did you enable it in sharing preferences?

So here is a screencap of my kernel panic. How are you supposed to "read" it?

Mac OS X 10.6.5 Update - for ga-pgga-ud3 F11

Hi everybody,
I'd like to update mac os to the last combo update 10.6.5 in order to be able to install the latest tonymac nvidia driver update for my nvidia gtx285.
As you can read from my specs below, I am going to configure multibeast 2.5.1 as shown in the attached picture.

Am I right?

I will appreciate any suggestions, corrections. thanx
