That's weird. I haven't had any of those issues. The only thing I have run into is still only 1 of my display ports working... which isn't a deal-breaker for me right now.
I did encounter the prohibited sign a few times upon initial install... from what I remember it was a IGPU setting in the bios. My issue was that I couldn't get Mac OS to install if I had my graphics card plugged in. Then once it was installed I couldn't get it to run with the integrated graphics, so I turned that off in the bios and plugged in my graphics card.
I'll take some photos of my settings and post it to your thread.
