Hi, i have a problem with Lycom 1394a Pci express TI chip.
the firewire card shows up in OS X with no installation, the firewire audio card (m-audio profire 2626) installs fine. But I cant get any sound. The machine goes to spinning ball, and i have to force quit the software playing the audio. Finder freezes. When I plug in the pci express 1394a card, i turn off the onboard firewire from bios.
When I use the onboard firewire it almost works, but after some minutes the audio starts to lag. By the way the audio card works fine on my Macbook pro.
I also uninstall/install the audiocard software/drivers everytime, i test between pci-e card and onboard firewire.
