Luxmark OpenCL Benchmark Updated to 2.1 for OS X 10.9

must be something wrong with my setup then. i have a sapphire toxic R9 280x and it scores 880 in sala mode. this card is supposed to be working at par 7970 Ghz edition if not less.

any reasons?

I think this score is accurate now.

Tony, how its so different, my R9 280x is giving me a pale 850, im using Mac Pro 3,1

and my system is Gigabyte Z77x UD5H, with 16 gb ram 1600mhz and i7 3770k
what im doing wrong??

UPADTE resolved goig to Mac Pro 5,1 as system definition and erasing the kext so it dont KP

low results depending maybe on agpm? it should be same performance as 7970 isnt?

Hi, I obtained 2285,in my XFX R9 280x, with an ivy Bridge, ga z77x udh5

It's a damn fast video card.

Also awesome is: i have connected: 3 x 27" 2560 x 1440 Screens + 1 hdmi projector (1 thru dvi-d + 2 thrue mini dp with adapter to DP)

no injection, no activated ipgu, works ootb!

yes its much louder than my gtx 570 (with low noise fan) before.
in idle the r9 280x is very quite, but when i am working with apple motion or heavy gpu load apps, the
fans are getting very loud.

The XFX is very silent in comparison, but a tad slower..

i expect to buy another R9 280x soon to complement this one knowing apple is going the double video card setup.

yes i am thinking to buy a 2nd one too... i wanna try to reduce on both cards gpu voltage and mhz with bios flash. I want a silent, low engery working machine
