Hello guys,

I recently upraded my hackintosh with a Z390 and an i9 9900k.
I did a fresh install and as of now, mostly everything works fine.

Well, except for my Geekbench score which seems incredibly low : 1252 single core / 8439 multi core.

Is that something normal, or do I have something that I need to set up to use the full power of the processor ?

Hi,

I have the exact same thing, I am running Catilnia and also got low scores from a fresh install. I was wondering if you found out what was causing it / if you managed to fix it ?

Scores in Geekbench 5 are lower than 4. My Overclocked i7 9700K gets about 8150 multicore. Your score seems about right.

I just did a fresh build with a z390 and i9 9900K. With Geekbench 5, I get this:

And with Geekbench 4 (just minutes later) I get this:

Looks like they have changed scoring...

That's right. GB5 uses different scoring methods. Your results are inline with other comparable machines if you look on their website.
