Lost audio spontaneously

Hello all,

I had audio working fine for over 8 months on my hackintosh.

I tried using a custom resolution setting with the application Switchresx and now some audio options are lost.

I had:
- Digital optical out
- Line out (3.5mm from motherboard)
- Displayport out


Now I only have displayport out available. I need the digital optical out.

Any idea why this may have happened? I obviously removed the custom resolution and it did not fix it.

Also, the boot screen with the apple logo and the loading bar below it takes much longer now towards the end of the bar.
