3 monitors 27in and (one using onboard graphics)

the machine has been glitchy as hell so I am looking to do a fresh install of High Sierra

I see here it is recommended to follow the main guide

Anything I need to be aware of. Also, Can I use a carbon copy clone to migrate my apps?
