I have read that a USB keyboard is required for certain things. Will a wireless keyboard such as this one be suitable:

or do I specifically need a wired USB keyboard and mouse.

The Logitech keyboard uses Radio Frequency. The 'Unifying receiver' works in the UEFI BIOS which is not always the case with BlueTooth models.

Multibeast vs Clover

What is the difference between these? Which should I use if this is my first time building a hackintosh?

You can actually use MultiBeast for Clover, but that is another subject. It is really a question of bootloader type and and which way is more straightforward to install. In this respect the Chimera bootloader wins it for me.

If you get it running with this process then you can spend a little time experimenting with Clover if you wish to do so. Clover is very good and can work easily - although problem solving can be a real issue for those without a great deal of experience. If you would like to start with Clover then use the Yosemite Clover guide:

Alternatively you may wish to use the Test drive solution on an already working Chimera build to try Clover without risking your existing installation:

I am planning to do a fresh install using Clover. Does Clover install the Nvida drivers or do have to do this using Multibeast?

Do these installed drivers allow you to access all the features of the graphics card? Is there a "control panel" that allows tweaking of the graphic settings?

Another question:

The mATX build is spec'd with a 550 watt power supply. Does 550 watts have growing room for adding a DVD , 1 or 2 HDD's, other things that might come up?

Also, is safe to assume that a mATX board will work with an ATX case?

FYI - I just bought two QNX2710 Pixel Perfect monitors and absolutely love them! The screen is bright, and the resolution is very crisp at 2550x1440. Be forewarned, the video cable is rather short (4ft), so you might need a longer cable depending on your setup. If you have to get a new cable, make sure it is a dual-link DVI cable as the single-link cables (including HDMI) won't work.

That's good to hear. It had a lot of good reviews. How does it compare to an iMac 27"? I really like the glossy finish. However, no one except Apple seems to get it right. :(
