Long Term Broadcom Supported Chips?

Is there a Broadcom chip that works out of the box for things like WiFi/Bluetooth prior to OS X Yosemite, but also supports things like AirDrop in later versions? I'm looking for a Broadcom chip that has long term support over a lot OS versions.

apple is cutting out support to older macs over the time so you need a card from the newest possible mac pro (6,1 from 2008) that supports yosemite. That card might not be supported in high sierra though. You need to ease your requirements.

Just going to make a note here for anyone that might be interested, the Broadcom BCM94360CD appears to fit this criteria.
