Logic Pro 9 Benchmark Thread

Test Logic 9 on your Hackintosh rig using the Evan.se benchmark file and post the results here.

Related Gearslutz thread:

http://www.gearslutz.com/board/music-computers/371545-logic-pro-multicore-benchmarktest.html

Test Your Rig

Step 1:

Download the .zip:

http://www.evan.se/logicprobenchmark/EvanLogicBenchmark.zip

Step 2:

Un-mute each track sequentially to see how your rig copes.

*Logic automatically optimizes itself to spread processing load, so the occasional core overload may occur.

*As of 9.1.3 you can now set the number of threads within Logic. preferences. For best performance set maximum threads instead of automatic.

Step 3:

Post your results and rig specs.

?!?!?!?!
PROFIT.

Nvidia gt 340
Logic 8

Tc Konnekt 24d (Firewire)

Getting 52 stable tracks.

@ Hambo. This thread doesent make much sense unless we all do the same. Follow OP plz ;)

@ Dollej, i think your missing the point of the benchmark. How are you ever supposed to see what your mac can do if you do push it to the limit? I think you need to have a look at the graph on the gearsluts forum page. The Default 84 tracks are a starting point and you add more until your mac cant take it.

As for the buffer size and range settings they can also be found on the gearsluts page.

32bit: 72 stable :)
64bit: 80+ stable :) 64bit info => http:// support . apple . com /kb/HT3989
...Just running Safari (with this web site) and Apple Logic Pro 9.1.3...
Kinda like a 2010 Mac Pro :) ... using internal on board sound card.

p.s.: turbo annoys a bit for this I think. Might try without... not sure.
.... LOL Waves (AU/VST Plugin) doesnt run with Logic 64 LOL!
