Loading Mac Hard drive on HP Elite 8300

I already own a hard drive with El Capitan on it. Is there a way to instal the drive on on a HP 8300 and use it?

No, you will need to do a clean install - a hard drive from a Mac will not boot in a PC (there is extra software that is needed to make the PC hardware recognized by macOS).

Here's a guide for installing macOS (El Capitan) on an HP Elite 8300. Sierra and High Sierra should work as well, with little to no changes in the process.
