Lion & Windows 7 dual-boot AFTER lion installation

I have followed all of the steps here, successfully installing Lion and Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit to the same internal ssd with, except for that when I reboot, the computer just automatically boots into Lion.

If i boot from the unibeast USB drive, I then get the option to choose Lion or Windows, both of which I can boot successfully from there, but of course, I would like to boot without having the USB drive plugged in, and/or having to press f-12 and choose boot from usb-hdd every time i reboot.

After installing both OS I booted from USB, booted into Lion, and ran multibeast, but still the computer automatically boots into Lion upon every restart, instead of giving me the option like it does with the usb drive.

Am i overlooking something simple, as it seems many others were able to accomplish this dual boot with success.

Thanks

Install Instant Menu from MultiBest

Wow. THANK YOU!!

So simple, yet I was practically banging my head off the damn wall trying to figure out why I couldn't get it right.

Thanks again

So everything works fine now

The steps:

1. Boot into existing Lion installation
2. Resize OS X partition
3. Create a second partiton as FAT
4. Start Windows 7 installation
5. Do NOT delete the free FAT partition, format it :banghead:
6. Install Windows
7. Bootloader lost --> boot with the UniBeast USB installation drive
8. Boot into existing OS X installation, run MultiBeast
9. Restart --> everything works perfectly :D

Thanks a lot for your help!

Thanks a lot! This helped me to install Lion and Windows 7 into the same hard drive. :headbang:

gotta try this out sometimes soon !! thanks for the info

i make as you say but i get the error

boot0 : GTP
boot0 : test
boot0 : test
boot0 : test
boot0 : test
boot0 : GTP
boot0 : test
boot0 : test
boot0 : test
boot0 : test
boot0 : error

i have 4 partitions

1 the EFI from lion
2lion
3 empty formated fat partition(in this one i will put windows)
4 fat 32 drive this one is gonna be for my files.(i will format it in NTFS after i will go over this dual boot problem)

so i want to next make my laptop boot alone(without the unibeast usb) and then i am gonna install windows on the partition No 3.

Choose "System reserved" instead of "Windows" in the bootloader.
I use 2 different HDD.
SSD for Lion and HDD for W7.
