Hello,
I have a bit of a conundrum. I originally had Snow Leopard on a 500GB drive in my build #1 (see signature) I thought well, I'd like to use the drive in build #2 my "Sawtooth" build. I take the drive out, move the 250GB drive Lion is installed onto over to the SATA #1 port on the MOBO and it will not boot. It acts as though the HD isn't even connected even though it is set to boot by default in the BIOS, and it is seen in the BIOS. If you put the 500GB drive back into the machine and set everything back to where they were it works normally. Any ideas where the issues reside? Has anyone ever had this or something similar happen? The only other thing I can think of is it sees the 500GB as a "helper drive" and fails to boot w/o it.
