Lion USB Wifi Issues

In Lion I am having issues with my Asus Wireless USB Adapter freezing and saying there is no device when I open up a music program (Logic, Garageband, EzDrummer, etc.). I never had this issue in 10.6.6 or 10.6.7. I'm not sure what to do to fix this. And if there isn't a fix, is there a pci/pci express wifi adapter that you might recommend?

It is actually not that expensive to buy an apple airport card off of ebay and create your own pci express wifi card. I used this and have had no problems since I bought and installed it. Check out this other thread.
