I have an Acer Aspire One, that a friend gave me, that has a broken screen. The netbook works prefectly fine except for the screen. Is it possible to install Lion, via USB drive, using an external display only? The netbook's VGA port works with my 23" LG display using Windows7. My plan was to use the nebook with Lion with the external display only. I am in the process of ordering a new display but would like to test installing Lion.
Can anyone tell if this installation will work, without having to replace the broken screen, or must I replace the screen first before I can install Lion? Thank you.
