I had finally gotten my WUSB600N to work with v2 of the RALINK drivers...what made it finally work was running Kext Utility after modifying the Info.plist and then rebooting. So I decided to try the newest v4 driver on their website. I went through the same procedure.
1. Install the driver (RTUSB D2870-4.1.1.0 UI-4.0.2.0_2011_0)
2. Reboot
3. Modify /System/Library/Extensions/RT2870USBWirelessDriver.kext with TextWrangler
4. Change the <integer> value for Linksys RT2870 - 2 to 121. Save and quit
5. Run Kext Utility
6. Reboot
Plugged in my WUSB600N and the RALINK Wireless Utility popped right up. No problems connecting to my wireless network.
