Hi. I'm building a Hackintosh for the first time and I noticed the motherboard I chose supports Dual Intel Socket LGA 2011/C602 chipset. I was planning to use 2 Intel Xeon LGA 2011 CPUs for my motherboard. I was wondering if my CPU would work with the motherboard or will I have to find a new CPU to use for my build?

Don't think it will work as it's not on this list: http://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z9PED8_WS/HelpDesk_CPU/

Try the Intel Xeon E5-2643 v2 for one that is on the list with similar specs.
Looks like Newegg has it. If you're not in CA or TN or NJ you can save a lot
on the sales tax.

If you could get by with dual quad cores then these are a lot less expensive for 2.

Hello friend,
As I am in the same boat as you, I'm just curious if that specific MB with 2 CPUs did work with the OS X El Capitan installation guide without worries?
Thanks in advance
