Refresh is limited to 60 Hz so get a high refresh rate (144 Hz) monitor if you will primarily be gaming. With IPS and a 98% sRGB color gamut this is an excellent photo editing monitor when you have a budget to stay within but need a quality iMac like display. Apple buys their regular iMac panels from LG.
