Lenovo Z580 Mav Installation

Hey,

I have a Lenovo Z580 with the following specs:

  • Intel Core i7-3612QM
  • Graphics :Intel HD Graphics 4000, NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M
  • 8GB 1600 RAM
  • 250GB Samsung Evo SSD

I installed Mavericks after following this and this. Everything works perfect, but I can't have the graphics! I have very very bad animations, and the HDMI port to my monitor doesn't work also.

I gave disabled NVIDIA in BIOS and I just work the HD4000 to work. I've tried tons of things and I am really desperate.
I was able to get good resolution by adding this to org.chameleon.Boot.plist:
Code:
<key>Graphics Mode</key>
<string>1366x768x32</string>

PLEASE PLEASE Anybody help me get the graphics working!!

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Hi
I have updated my profile. Thanks a lot!!

BTW I have also tried patching my DTST but didn't work. I don't think my DTST is good anyway.

Remove DSDT. Remove nvidia kexts (NV*, Geforce*), boot with:
IGPEnabler=Y IGPlatformID=016660003 -v dart=0 -f UseKernelCache=N

Hi,

Still does not work.. Removed DTST and kexts, booted with boot flags and still the Graphics is Display 64 MB of Shared System Memory.

What should I do? Thanks a ton for your help!
