Dear all,
I am new to the hackintosh scene and try to setup the latest High Sierra to my Lenovo x270.
Specs:
Lenovo x270
Intel i5-7200u
Intel HD620 Graphics
512 GB SSD NVMe
16 GB DDR4 RAM
Wifi BCM94352Z (instead of the Preinstalled Intel 8260)
Audio ALC298 (ALC3268)
Thanks to Rehabman's Howtos I got OSX up and running.
I use the latest Clover by Rehabman
and got following Kext installed:
BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext
BrcmPatchRAM2.kext
FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext
FakePCIID.kext
FakeSMC.kext
HackrNVMeFamilyInjector.kext
IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup.kext
IntelMausiEthernet.kext
Lilu.kext
USBInjectAll.kext
VoodooPS2Controller.kext
ACPIBatteryManager.kext + DSDT patch (Lenovo x220 battery)
+ ssdPRGen for Power Management
+ Disabled AFPS on first install
Copied my USB Clover partition to SSD EFi Partition. (Didnt installed any kext in S/L/E yet)
What is working so far:
- Booting into OSX
- Wifi/Bluetooth
- Trackpad (need to customize it abit)
- USB ports (dont have any USB3 sticks, but USB2 works)
- Ethernet
- Battery ( DSDT Bat-Patching using Lenovo x220 script)
- HDMI
- Backlight ( https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-dsdt-ssdt-for-laptop-backlight-control.152659/ )
- FN Keys (Use Karabiner-Elemenst to remap - not able to change the keymap via DSDT)
- Keyboard LED (native by pressing Fn + Space)
- Audio (AppleVLC patched: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/311293-applealc-—-dynamic-applehda-patching/?p=2520064 )
What is missing:
- Sleepmode
- BT after "sleep" doesn't work
- Itunes crashes randomly
- NVRAM issues/backlight status is not saved
- Clover booting time (7sec)
What I wont focus on:
- Fingerprint
- SD Card reader
So my question is now: How to go on - found different million howtos to go further - what are the latest updated solutions to fix these different problems?
