hello all,

i'm trying to install Monterey in a Lenovo Thinkstation P700 with one Xeon E-2620v3.
started with this guide: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installer-guide/

i tried EFI from here:
and from here:

in the first case i get a message that this os is not supported...
in the second case, i get a kernel panic (image attached).

has anyone setup monterey on a P700 to upload the appropriate files ?

after months, still trying to setup my P700..
@P1LGRIM as far as i know, you have a similar system running with Monterey.
can you propose a guide to start?

This is the one that I used :

Please read and comply with the forum rules, in particular the one regarding profiles.
Link to profile - Just three items - Motherboard (or prebuilt system), Processor (CPU) and Graphics.

i can go up to the usb creation.
i followed all guides for bios settings in my p700
but i cannot manage to get the appropriate files for the EFI folder.
can you please share yours?

i have a usb with big sur, i used it on my Dell Optiplex 9010, i cannot get to the installation neither with this..

can you please share yours?
No. I don't subscribe to this viewpoint of using other people's files.
The config.plist is the most basic of Hackintosh skills and all users should learn to master it.
Leaching someone else's work does you no favours in the long run.

That said, if you zip and upload your /EFI folder I will have a look at it for you.

i started from the beginning..
i'm at the stage of editing my config.plist
you are pointing me towards the hard way, but its ok.. :)

@P1LGRIM , i think i made it as the tutorials, but after a second, my p700 reboots.
i dont know if there is something wrong at the bios, find attached my EFI folder..

Before going any further I can see that your /Resources folder is unpopulated.
Your OpenCore.efi is from 6 June 2022 but your BOOTx64.efi is from 4 October 2021, this is wrong.
All of your OpenCore files must be from the same version.

hello,
back after a relaxing weekend :)

After adding appropriate (??) files to /Resources and changed all of my Opencore files to the same version,
my system still reboots, after 5-10 fast lines..
but there is a log file left..
here it is, with my EFI folder..
