I've created usb installer from begining as this guideline
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

by using createinstallmedia method (macos sierra 10.12.1)

- with the default your config.plist file with ig-platform-ids for Intel HD4600 : 0x04128086
It can not pass through installation step,
- I changed to invalid id: 0x12345678 => then it can pass through installation step.

- I install clover to HDD ( same with install to usb installer) and copy folder EFI to EFI partition on HDD

- then add more kext to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other: FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext

changed Inject EDID from "false" to "true"
change to valid ig-platform-ids for Intel HD4600 : 0x04128086

Then restart system
the screen stop at line :

AppleKeyStore: operation failed (pid: 32 sel: 7 ret: e00002c2 '-536870286', -1, 100000)
IOPPF: XCPM mode
hmm... mismatch size 3100 vs 20
PPGTT is enable

then system reboot

If change to invalid id: 0x12345678 system boot able but graphic mem only 7MB

this is the log screen and my efi on HDD ( with valid id 0x04128086)

I'm sorry to re-live this some how. I have this Lenovo W540 with the 3K display and nvidia quadro K2100M.

I've been searching on a method to actually install OSX, but as far as I know, the laptop (in comparison with older lenovo models) does not allow nvidia optimus to be deactivated on BIOS, the laptop automatically sets which GPU should use and this creates a lot of issues on windows environments too, there is plenty of people with performance issues due to this. Even forcing the nvidia GPU to turn on by executable does not work.

As far as I digged in this notebook, the nvidia GPU is just a "co-processor". Both integrated monitor and displayport are connected to the intel gpu. The nvidia one has no direct connection to anything.

To prove my point, if you connect a monitor through DP and fire up the nvidia properties you can see the both monitors are connected to the iGPU. Then, if you do a DXDIAG, you will see a "Display" tab and a "Render" tab. The "render" tab goes to the nvidia gpu and says "Render-Only display device", which pretty much hints that this GPU has not direct connection to anything.

So probably this would be a major issue trying to run OSX.

Hope this helps somehow.

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html
The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"
