Hi Guys,

Finally I managed to get my pc working on Mountain Lion 10.8 and would like to share DSDT files. These DSDT files includes high resolution fix and sound fix.

There are few issues I don't know how to solve and would like to ask for help from more advanced users.

1. I can't get it boot without external USB drive.
2. I don't know where to get wireless drivers for this machine

I would be much appreciated if someone could help me to solve these issues.

Thank you in advance for any comments and useful info.

Fixed booting without external USB issue. I copied '/Extra/Extensions' directory from Unibeast external USB drive to '/Extra/' directory on drive where OSX is installed.

Processor Name: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2760QM CPU @ 2.40GHz

congrats for getting ML installed on your machine!

I also have a Lenovo T520 with i7, HD3000, 8GB RAM and Mountain Lion 10.8.

I have installed it with the guide and DSDT from

my question: what is working and not working on your machine?

On my machine working:
- QE/CI with 1920x1080
- bluetooth
- sound (VoodooHDA)
- app store
- iCloud
- wired networking (IntelE1000)
- wireless networking (USB RTL8188S)
- integrated camera / FaceTime

On my machine not working:
- sleep
- Mountain Lion 10.8.2
- battery status

Hi locale,

good to hear that you were able to get 10.8 on your machine too! Good stuff.

On my machine works pretty much the same as are working on yours except maybe bluetooth.
Also I managed to get working on my machine:
-sleep
- battery status
- dual screen via Digital Port using nvidia graphic card.

I don't know how about yours, but my machine doesn't work as smooth as I expected. It often freezes for few seconds when opening applications or when you want to close some. Are you facing similar issues or your machine works fine?

I don't know if this thread is still alive, but I've been working on getting 10.9 on my T520, and it works pretty well... I /do/ need sound DSDT, and I'm working on adding kexts that are able to get the nub mouse and buttons working. I'm modding a wireless card's PCI-ID to get it to get past the BIOS white list. However, most things are working well, and I'm pretty happy with the performance I've seen on it this far.

Congrats with good job.

I also upgraded to 10.9 ages ago. Was not very difficult transition from 10.8.

I managed to get most of the stuff working including sound if you need drivers I can send you over. The stuff that doesn't work is sleep, power management and Intel wireless card. I also managed go get DigitalPort working so I can enjoy using dual monitor.

I also tried to install yosemite on mine one and had a problem with sound as well.
