Just follow #345, so I can take a look at what you have. Idea is to get ACPI files as loaded into ioreg, and ioreg itself (ACPI used to be available in ioreg itself, but not with Yosemite, thus 'patchmatic -extract').

If you already have a RehabMan directory under Downloads, use a different directory (RehabMan1).

It seems we have a solution for everything except the SD reader now. Has anybody tried the BCM94360CD M.2 format wifi card that you can get on Ebay now?

Unfortunately, it seems like M.2 doesn't bypass Lenovo's whitelist, so I guess the only solution at the moment is the hardware whitelist hack

I got the sound to work again, but I decided to organize, clean and redo it. so right now I still don't have the sound yet. but sure I'll be able to figure out with cleaner folders and files...

wrote everything down this time to make sure following all steps.

so far HDMI audio is there form system report but sound card present yet.
Did follow all step without missing and didn't see any error.

I got it. I read the thread back and also compared the ones that worked and didn't. then realized your comment on kext-dev-mode=1 was missing.

after clean disassemble, patch and make, in config.plist, I needed to add kext-dev-mode=1 again
I think that was the whole issue....

but now I know and added to note...

adding note here:
on Kylec's git hub, I see that

cd..

is missing before the line

git clone https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch.git laptop.git

so that everything builds under whatever directory instead of patchmatic.git
(since tables.tgz is above that directory it throws error.)

everything else was good in working order on the instruction.

Maybe should add instruction to add kext-dev-mode=1 on boot arguments.

I read through a lot of this thread, but couldn't see any mention of the touch functionality working, anybody know if that works or not ?
I'm considering swapping out my 4530s and getting something a little sleeker, with a better battery life.
