Yes, IGPU patch is different. Selecting ig-platform-id instead of snb-platform-id. But perhaps you are using bootloader options to select ig-platform-id?

I'm curious if ikkoku's DSDT would be a better option in the short term to use rather than egarbage's since the graphics and battery seem to be off.

Here's ikkoku's DSDT. I'll still work on patching my own but it'll probably take me some time since I'm new at it.

I checked out the differences between my (egarbage) DSDT and ikkoku's DSDT and both are almost exactly the same. The only big difference appears to be, like you said, the graphics. Whose is correct? In red is ikkoku's; in green is my current DSDT. Also interesting, I don't see a difference in the battery code so the issues that you found in my DSDT appear to be in both of ours.

Can you send what you're using now? What'd you change about the battery? I've always used egarbages DSDT just because that's what you recommended. Everything is actually great thus far but if there's issues on the backend of things, I'd love to fix them.

EDIT: Went out and bought my WiFi doggle today (Belkin N300). Install drivers, pop it in, boom. That easy!

Can this dsdt be used for Lenovo u410? Im also having problems with battery patching.
Do you experience wifi issues with your atheros wlan? Have you made some modifications on the base cover? I want to do some modification if it works to get rid of wifi issue. Thanks.

I'm not sure if you can use my dsdt on the u410. I would probably advise against it.

I have the ar9280 and it works great (for me, it was better than the 9285/bt combo). I did modification on the base cover and I think I was the one who recommended it here. for my u310, it made a huge difference.

Actually I did use your dsdt and its working. just a coule of error such as appleusbechi and smc but works geat. With your mod do you get almost full down load speed even 15 meters away from router? Ar9820 has also Bluetooth? One last do you think putting a whole shield foil cover on the whole base and just opening the vent will be better? is it hard to disassemble? Thanks.

With the mod i get full speed from my cable line 25+mbit.
I have the foil in exact same place he has it. Works well.

U310 terrible design would be a nice if someone could make a plastic replacement for the back.. atleast we would get full speed

I haven't tried putting the shield on the whole base. you can try and let us know the results.
AR9280 does not have BT. My router is on the opposite end of the house and 1 flight up. Speeds are fine.

easy to disassmble (for the 310 at least) pry open the 4 rubber feet and unscrew. You will break warranty if you open it up
