Comments

This is my favorite AMD based Hack so far. Everything works with the exception of power management. Sleep works nicely after using Hackintool to create a USBPorts.kext. When I bought the PCI-E adapter it was about half the cost it is now, same for the BCM943602CS card. An all in one Fenvi T919 is actually cheaper.

Installation Notes

The USB boot drive was made using the “createinstallmedia” terminal command as documented by Apple (search for it if you are unfamiliar) . Once complete I then mounted the EFI partition using EFI Agent by Headkaze. From there I copied the EFI folder attached below courtesy of Alex K at AMD OS X. It utilizes the OpenCore 0.61 bootloader and AMD Vanilla patches and was originally written for the Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro. The attached EFI folder will also work on an ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFI but ethernet is Realtek so you have to change the kext.

It follows guidelines for Ryzen processors documented here with some modifications. BIOS settings follow the generic recommendations. https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/

What Works
All Hardware

What Doesn't Work

Dutch actually, fixed now. You may need to reset the Nvram to allow the changes to work. Thanks for pointing that out!

No problem :) I've asked a Russian friend to do the install and it works only 1 problem
when it's going into sleep mode it will not wake up I have to manually shut down the pc via the power button and then start up again

Did you also have this problem?

Being you have a B450 board the EFI folder I've attached has some stuff in it you do not need and the USB ports are going to differ and will need to be remapped. In the config.plist you can turn off "SSDT-CPUR.aml" in ACPI/add, its only for B550 boards. On my machine, the USB wireless keyboard wakes it up every time. On my Dell laptop and Z490 machines that's true though.

This is a common problem with some AMD hackintoshes. You can read more about it in CaseySJ's new AMD build thread. Link to it is on the home page.

FYI, I've built three AMD 450 chipset based hacks. Sleep worked great on all of them after mapping the USB ports, they all also would wake from the wireless USB keyboard. A 570 based system I built I couldn't get sleep to work at all, tried all kinds of SSDT patching and after prowling various boards only found that to be common. Something to do with on the processor USB function that can't be mapped or at least couldn't a month or so ago. Big Sur apparently fixed that for CaseySJ on his 570 machine, never had a chance to try that myself.
The B550 are similar to the 450 chipset boards in that they only seem to be two USB branches, once you map one you are all set.
