Yes also had this problem and this post saved me. But i didn't format disks before. and had to set integrated graphic in bios.

I haveT430, 16GBRAM , Intel Core i7-3520m vPro and GeForce
Mouse and install screen took about 3+ minutes

I had an unformatted partition in my SATA Samsung HD. I just formatted it and got the blank screen again, at least reboots no more...

After that, I used -v GraphicsEnabler=N IGPEnabler=N and slowly the install screen appeared. First the mouse arrow and then the background, very slowly.
