Laptop hangs at Chimera spinning bar

I was able to successfully install Yosemite 10.10.4 on Acer Aspire 5741-3404 including getting graphics acceleration and proper display resolution (Arrandale processor integrated graphics). Almost everything worked Wifi (toledaARPT kext ) , sound and camera.

Later I could not reboot again: the system hangs after POST when Chimera attempts to load right at the spinning bar.

Any help will be appreciated !!
