Laptop ALC892 - Testers Needed

That's strange- in Clover config (I'm sure it's the right EFI folder) I can confirm I've set the audio inject id to 1. This could be the problem.

Where/what else could be changing my audio id?

You could have an HDA "enabler" kext setting it to 3.

Or your DSDT could be setting it to 3.

Since IOACPIPlane shows injected value of 1, I suspect you installed an HDA enabler kext.

I had clevo build laptop and I followed 2 guides to make my Yosemite 10.10 work on it one yours Clover one and other this one: http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...osemite-clevo-p650se-sager-np8651-clover.html

I came to this thread by later.

I installed this Kext on 10.10. and it worked like a charm and everything was fine, I then upgraded to 10.10.5 by Appstore, everything was working fine other than the Audio, then I injected this kext again from kext wizard for 10.10.5 an restarted the laptop, not Max OS X loads half way through and stays there.
I tried "block kext" option in clover, as well. But it didn't work. Let me know the solution to the problem?

Thanks!

as my unit is a barebone pc i suppose my realtek alc 892 is a laptop version. i couldn't make it work following all the threads about audio, again, i'm not that much experimented with this and may have made a mistake. Has this thread evolved, or the only reference is the mail audio alc thread?

Your layout is more likely matching desktop ALC892.
