Laggy display with new monitor

I just got a brand new Samsung U28E590 4K display and I am experiencing some intermittent display lag. I have the monitor connected to a display port on my GTX 960 which is already driving two 23" monitors, on on DVI, the other on HDMI. I am using version 387.10.10.10.25.156 if the Nvidia web drivers. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do to eliminate the lag? Perhaps switch this monitor to HDMI and my other 23 to DP?
