You just need to remove /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.mediaanalysisd.plist

I'm on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2 GB here and experiencing the same, I tried the following:

1. Deleting /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.mediaanalysisd.plist
2. Using nvidia-update, e.g. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/nvidia-update-simple-way-to-install-nvidia-web-drivers.244987/
3. Installing these kexts
   • NvidiaGraphicsFixup - https://sourceforge.net/projects/nvidiagraphicsfixup
     
   • Lilu - https://github.com/vit9696/Lilu
   • Shiki - https://github.com/vit9696/Shiki
4. Upgrading to latest Nvidia web driver

The latest Nvidia web driver seems better but it does not feel nearly as snappy as say my MacBook Pro 13" despite having far superior specs - I'm tempted to just take out the Nvidia card and using the Intel onboard graphics.
