KVM Switch not recognized

I used to use a KVM switch to switch between my windows 7 and windows 10 (VMware El-Capitan) with no issues. I have converted the Win 10 box to a hackintosh and all works well except the hackintosh no longer sees the KVM switch. Is there a KEXT I need for an iogear KVM switch or something?

There is no KEXT as such, *most* KVM's should just work as they emulate a USB mouse driver. Normally there is a problem with Windows 10 and some KVM's such as the Raritan whereas you have the opposite problem.

1. Have you confirmed that that USB works properly by simply plugging in the mouse and keyboard to the Hack?

2. Do you have an USB ports as opposed to Mouse ports on your IOGEAR USB switch. If so try those.

I found a solution. No matter what I did this did not work. However. I plugged the USB of the KVM into a simple 4 port non powered hub then into the computer and low and behold all works. Now I'm back to my sound card problems.
