Hello all just looking for a little assistance so I have had a stable machine for a long while now started on mavrik and made my way up to El Capitan yesterday I updated clover and also did the itunes/security update after a reboot I was not able to get into os it would just take me to a black screen did some googling and found a fix for clover update causing a black screen by replacing OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi from the most recent backup after doing this I now have a KP that reads :as.vit9696.applealc1.8.12 do I just need to update this kext in order to boot up?

So I just decided to just try it out so I booted with out kext and doing that let me boot up I then installed the newest apple alc kext, lilu kext. And then I installed whatevergreen to get my HDMI audio back so happy
