Any idea why the graphics card is listed as using only 8 lanes? My geekbench overall score runs about 12000.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte P67A-UD4-B3 with a 2600K i7 processor.
Also, why does my machine show up as an Early 2008 Mac Pro?
Thanks in advance for any information.
Well thanks to a previous poster, I was able to get my video card showing up as using 16 lanes.
Just follow the instructions from a previous post below.
"My pci card was linking at 8x instead of 16x in System Profiler. In Graphic/Displays PCIe Lane Width it kept saying 8x instead of 16x (this also verifiable in windows using GPUz)
The fix was simple. Up the BCLK to 1003.
It seams that the default BCLK 1000 leaves it at 98.98 Real BCLK. For some reason the gfx card requires for the real to be at over 100 to connect at 16x. The way to do this is to bump the BCLK to 1003 and this effectively gives us 100.1 real.
This was using a P67a-UD5 with a XFX HD 5770."
