Kext For AR9462 On El Capitan

According to the page reference from, It doesn't work with cold boot, dies with sleep/wake.​

But I have not those issue, just network will blocked occasionally.

WIFI

Download patched AirPortAtheros40.kext, and use KextBeast to install to /S/L/E.​

• For El Capitan 10.11.x

AirPortAtheros40-AR9462-patch14.kext-10.11.x.zip​

• For Sierra 10.12.x

AirPortAtheros40-AR946X.v1-10.12.x.zip​

Bluetooth(AR3012)

Download patched BTFirmwareUploader.kext, and use KextBeast to install to /S/L/E Or Clover/Kexts.

BTFirmwareUploader_3.1.5_10.11_AR3012-0x0489_0xE04E.zip​

Using BSD name of en2 (built-in problem)

1. Delete ALL Network Interface. (System Preferences > Network)
2. Delete NetworkInterfaces.plist And preferences.plist. (From /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration)
3. Reboot System.

Good news. I have this WiFi card with only BT drived.
应该用后一个PATCH还是直接放到对应的CLOVER目录就行了？不用放到SLE么？

If your System Version is 10.11.6, you can using either method.

Drirect patched IO80211Family.kext to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other isn't working.

I used Kext Utility to install the patched IO80211Family.kext and it works OK but some bug which is mentioned above.

无线网卡（IO80211Family.kext）直接拖到Kext Utility安装就行了，重启后一切OK
另外我只删了NetworkInterfaces.plis 然后再按顺序添加也没问题，目前网卡都内置，有线en0，无线en1，蓝牙en2

I got good news. Someone tried to only install patched AirPortAtheros40.kext to /S/L/E with no bugs.
I will try it later.

It did worked. But this method is not from original guide, consequences is unclear.

It won't work. AR9462 is not compatible with the OSX Atheros40 driver. Replace the card with one that is.

Unfortunately without documentation as to what was patched, so it is a temporary solution, soon to be obsolete.

As such, not really interesting... Compatible Broadcom WiFi/BT remains the best solution.
