I have tried to update my computer many times to 10.9.2 and it seems that every time that i complete the update my trim is not enabled. When i use multibeast to enable my trim via trim patch 10.9.x my computer goes into a kernel panic and wont boot.

I am kind of at a stand still here and dont know exactly what to do. Everything else seems to be working fine but when i enable TRIM my computer doesnt like it.

I am using the 240gb Sandisk extreme or extreme 2 that was recommended when i built it.

any advice from someone that is smarter then me?

I dont really know if it is the TRIM patch either it could be something totally different

I think that i fixed my own problem. I followed tonymacx86's advice and used the command in unibeast

UseKernelCache=No

this allowed me to boot into osx and then repair the permissions using the disk utility. This seems to have fixed some of my problems.

I am still experiencing crashes and kernel panics just not as much.

The kernel error message says something about free floating
