This issue still isn't fixed for me. I just noticed today that my system can't find any fans connected and my CPU temperature is "nan"; my fans seem to run constantly at the same speed, but I don't do much heavy work so I haven't noticed this issue.

I have tried System Monitor, Fanny, and HWSensors.6.26.1440.Binaries with FakeSMC and plugins ACPISensors.kext, CPUSensors.kext, GPUSensors.kext and LPCSensors.kext installed only in the E/C/K/10.14 and E/C/K/Other folders (I made sure there were no copies in S/L/E/ or L/E/). My fans and CPU temp are still not detectable.

Could any of this be an issue with FCPX, since the fans are not ramping up during the Share process?

My GPU fans do turn on and off during the process. I am trying another Share in FCPx and I've gotten further than ever at 31%! We'll see what happens!

I should also mention that I looked at several forums online for normal Mac issues and fixes for FCPx like Delete Generated Project Files, Delete Generated Event Files, and Delete Preferences.

I walked away after the Share got to 70%... should have stayed. The system crashed at some point, but I look on the Desktop and the movie is there! What? So it completed and then the system crashed?... Upon opening, it definitely didn't export correctly; it's like no of the edits went through and it was all raw video and audio.

Also, the fans and CPU temp are being reported now!! I know I restarted the computer and installing the kexts, but maybe I didn't after reading that the kext copies in S/L/E/ and L/E/ might need to be deleted... But I'm just now noticing that they are being reported wrong... :(

I tried exporting again in "Prepare for Facebook" mode and it exported successfully! So, I'm wondering if I have issues with H.264. So I found this post:

Therefore, I am going to learn more about framebuffer modifications based on these articles:
