I just updated to Catalina from Mojave and after upgrading clover as well as the kexts I was not able to boot again into my system.
I am running on a Dell latitude 7480 with 7thGen i7 and 620UHD Graphics

The error is a kernel panic in the Kabylake graphic driver and no matter what I did, I couldn't get over it. I tried -disablegfxfirmware and - igfxvesa boot arguments to no success. I tried adding a fake platformID (0x12345678) but still errored anyways (not a KP but boot stuck too).

I linked the clover folder I am using right now and a screenshot of the KP.

i don't get that, is it about the DVMT-prealloc part? I don't think I have a problem with it since I was using the same Config.plist file from my clover when I was running Mojave. unless there was an instant need for more size when it comes to upgrading to Catalina.
And I didn't find where to change that variable in my bios anyways and I don't know what is it set to by default.

I have gone and tried the unedited version of the config from rehabman's list, by replacing my original config.plist with that one but it didn't work and I got stuck somewhere else when booting.
I used the config.lplist for the HD620 graphics. I attached a photo of where it got stuck

I did fix that by adding the SSDT-EC file, but i ended up in the same KBLGraphics KP as before.

Does Catalina 10.15.5 need more DVMT-prealloc than Mojave does? I didn't see that upgrading to Catalina needs resetting that, or would it be the kext upgrade that inserted issue?

My bios don't have where I can set the DVMT value so will changing it on the config.plist suffice to increase it? because I can see that it needs to align with the bios assigned Value ( so that we don't trick the system into having more memory than what he actually does ), So do I assume the system set it to 64MB and change it accordingly in the config.plist file?
