When trying to update to 10.6.8 (from any 10.6.x) everyone says run Multibeast before you reboot. But I can't, because I instantly get a Kernel Panic near the end of the installation, nothing I can do to stop it! Then, when I reboot it either gets stuck on the Mac logo forever, reboots itself, or stays at a black screen forever. I always use GraphicsEnabler=No (AMD 7xxx card) and I need to upgrade to Mountain Lion but I can't do it without 10.6.8.

(Verbose Boot looks like a jumbled mess, can't tell what's on it. )
