Keeping the Installation Partition

I've successfully got Lion working on a test drive, and now it's time to update my working boot drive... I presume that I can use the same installation partition to get Lion working on my main system, which is on a different drive?

Yes if you have the installer parition intact you don't have to do the xmove part. You'll still have to do the intiall 3 min Lion install then reboot and boot into installer and it should be a standard install from there. I did the same thing. Tested it and then did a fresh install.
