Comments
I have been using Macs for quite a long time, and previously had a MacBookPro early 2012, an iMac 15" and a PPC G5. My main idea with the build, was a development machine to experiment with Linux, openBSD and Windows on one machine but separate disk drives.

Since I´m too old for neon light and big cases, I wanted to put all the components in the smallest possible case.Streacom F1C EVO WS was an obvious choice, as it had room for 3 drives. I could install the 1151 socket CPU as well. Installation Notes Most of this guide is copied directly from this build:
(They have removed the part list and have not replied to my request to email it to me.)

I do have a few edits (removed FakeSMC, etc.) and added download instructions for Mojave. For this guide keep in mind that I am running MacOS Mojave 10.14.1, and I have tested only this version of Mac OS. I hope that if anyone would like to create the same build, this guide will hopefully make things easier for them.

Installation

Downloading and Preparing

Step 1. Download macOS Mojave
I downloaded the Mojave Installer app from the App Store.

Step 2: Create a bootable USB drive with UniBeast
These steps are coming from another guide (see link). https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...on-200-series-with-kabylake-processor.218494/

Files To Download
You need to download some files to get things work. These files are necessary for the entire session of the macOS installation.
  1. MultiBeast, latest version
  2. UniBeast, latest version
  3. Clover Configurator, latest version
Step 3: Recommended BIOS settings
Before start installing modify BIOS settings.

Step 4: Install macOS Mojave
Be patient and let the Clover magic work. Ensure that you reboot to the install USB until Mojave is finished installing. Then reboot to the USB but now choose the new MAC disk as the boot disk on the Clover screen

Step 5: Post installation with MultiBeast
So, after the installation (Step 4) we have to run MultiBeast 9.* (use latest release of the tool)
In System Definition for the i5 4500K we must choose iMac 14.2 which is the default for the Quick Start choices.
After all this we hit Build and Install.

After all these steps it's time to reboot. Remember in BIOS to choose your hard drive for boot.

What works

  • USB 3.0
  • Audio
  • Ethernet
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • Facetime
  • Sleep and wake
Debug.zip contains all the information for Clover and other debug and hardware info.

Sleep wake needs terminal command
sudo pmset -a standby 0

Filevault does not work, but I am working on it!

Sorry, do not use the display port! So, no idea if one can get 4k from it!

Hello
My config is very similar H110T + i5-6500 (Skylake) + HD 530
I downloaded macos mohave installer, made boot-usb by latest unibeast 9.0, checked usb settings. But when I try to start install in clover, I get a white circle with line and not readable text in a few seconds (attached screen).
Any idea plz?

I installed and launch OS with "inject intel" option in clover on usb (or in clover configurator for installed config.plist), but with this option I got graphic "intel hd 530 7mb".
if it help someone:

As soon as I disable "inject intel" option - OS dosen't start and go to loop reboot. I tried many variants of config and manually settings to fix this problem, but all of them dosen't work before I set BIOS param "dvmt" memory for integrated graphic to 64mb (32mb was by default) And now video automatically up - Intel HD Graphics SKL CRB 1536 MB . (Lilu and whatevergreen kexts installed. All fixes and injects disabled in clover configurator.)

Next step sleep mode...
