I was able to run Lion without DSDT on my P53E. I have generated it with Chameleon Wizard, it was enough for me.

I have an x53 series one, same motherboard as yours, but with i7. Said that it's not a good idea to run a DSDT extracted on different machines, even of the same model, you have to know that without patching AICPUPM kext you won't be able to run a DSDT without NullCPUPM.
