looks like a great system, look forward to hear how it runs. Are you having trouble installing OSX? I noticed you don't have any ram installed :D

Very clean, good choice on the case

Thanks, I have to say I have just geek benched it. No OCing just stock speeds and OMG!

Love the way all wiring, as much as possible is hidden behind a false wall at the back, it's great!

I think I may have to keep this one

Just a quick thought, is your memory down-stepping from 1600 to 1333? Double check it, then DC that 3.5" you have in there, then re-run your Geekbench.

I would have expected you to easily coast past 13k with that system (I would have imagined you to probably top the 14k mark). Don't get me wrong, it's still a beast, but I am sure there must be a little bottleneck there.

I think there is still a problem with OSX not supporting the SB CPU's yet, I was expecting a bit more TBH, but that is stil more than TonyMac got ;)

I am deinitely keeping it, gonna have to reorder the same bits again today now

That's more like it!!!

I knew it had it in it somewhere xD

Nice work!

Just for my sake, disconnect that "Audio" Drive and Disconnect your time machine, then re-run and see if you can get your geekbench above 15.5k ^^

Do you have sleep/audio working? What exactly did you do in MultiBeast? I'm a total n00b, sorry. haha. The build I'm looking to make (my first) is here: http://amzn.com/w/3UD3Q9MBC1IXQ

Once you get it running, do you just install BridgeHelper over everything?

Hi. Just follow tonys installing lion on an ivybridge system,
Then just run bridge helper 5.
Restart

Done.

Audio works, sleep wake works, 7 series achi now recognised everything!

Have fun :)
