Just Fab, Inc device enrollment

So near the end of setup of a clean install of Catalina 10.15.3 a screen appeared asking for me to allow Just Fab, Inc., to remotely setup my computer. I tried to skip the screen, but I could not find a way around it. After becoming frustrated as I'd NEVER seen anything like this before from Apple OS software I'd downloaded from the App Store. Stupid me did not take a picture of the screen. I backed up to the previous screen and clicked that I did not have an internet connection. Only then could I proceed without the screen asking to remotely setup my computer. I thought I was done with that, but after rebooting the system later I noticed on login "Just Fab, Inc." listed as a user!!! I quickly deleted this user from my Catalina setup. Later, I decided to try installing Catalina for a second time. This time I left the ethernet cable unattached as I did the install and once again answered the network setup screen as not having an internet connection. I proceeded through the installation with no "Just Fab" appearing during this second attempt. I thought I was done with "Just Fab, Inc." Then this appeared as a notification on my computer (See Screenshot) WTH. Has anyone else had this problem? What is going on here? I checked to make certain remote connection was disabled and I'm keeping an eye out, but this notification keeps appearing every time I boot into Catalina. Any ideas on what to do about this?

Have you ever installed their app on any of your iPhones/iPads ? If so it may have gotten connected with your AppleID and then popped up during the Catalina install and setup. Probably not a co. you'd want anything to do with from what I've read.

JustFab has had other clashes with the law, though they haven’t been widely reported.

The Florida attorney general’s office began investigating the company after receiving “hundreds of complaints” beginning in January 2010, concluding last year that “consumers were not properly made aware” they were signing up for monthly recurring charges. To resolve the investigation, JustFab agreed to make it clearer to customers that they were signing up for a subscription, promising website tweaks like placing billing terms within 300 pixels of the button used to complete orders. The company denied any wrongdoing.

@rhubbar7 I would search for anything related to JustFab inc. either on your computer or associated with your AppleID and delete it ASAP.

We are not in possession of all of the facts.
If the host computer was contaminated with malware it could be transferred to the USB.

True. There is no way Apple would let anything like this get into the Catalina installer app.

The question that remains for the OP. What did you use to create your USB installer ?

I have seen claims that there is a lot of malware on GitHub although I have yet to see any proof.
