Just a warning with Asus Mobos

Can confirm that placing a boot loader on the EFI partition will allow an Asus H87i-Plus board to boot to a GPT partition. Have had success both with UEFI booting via Clover, and standard chimera boot.

(apologies for the lack of a sig, just created this account!) Using integrated graphics on a 4770

Got everything working except sleep/wake (machine reboots on sleep). Display sleep is working. Using a self patched 905 bios, no idea if the patched bios is doing anything or not, had to patch from windows using afudosx64.

Someone might know the cause of this reboot instead of sleep?

If i send the pc to sleep it turns off, a second after it turns itself on for a secon and off again. Afterwards it reboots itself.

I just got an Asus H87i-Plus and I was wondering how I could install Mavericks. This is my first hackintosh and I dont know anything. What is the difference between the 1005 bios and a modded one?
