Or you can Drag & drop the kext to MacOS⁩ ▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ ⁨Extension

  • Please use a Kext Installer Software like Kext Utility|Kext Wizard| KextBeast to install the NoVPAJpeg.kext which will install the kext in to L/E and perform Repair Permission and Rebuild cache required for the kext to work
  • Just dragging and dropping kexts into /L/E is not the right way to install kexts.
  • If it is in CLOVER/kexts/Other one can just copy and paste.

You should NEVER just drag and drop kexts to the /L/E directory without clearing the cache and resetting permissions etc.

See HERE how to do it properly.

I updated to the latest Apple update, and I changed my system definition. Now JPGs open for me. Not sure which solved the issue.

Well mine is solved! I googled more specifically for jpgs, and found that enabling the onboard graphics card resolved it. I did, and it fixed it for me. :) I hope it's as simple for you.
How do you enable the iGPU exactly?
Do you still use the dGPU when the iGPU is enabled?

Best,
