This is my 4th custom mac. I started with an ATX and mATX Sandy Bridge (z68) and after I build a ITX Ivy Brige (h77). They still work perfectly but I needed to use the sandy brigde with windows 10 at work, so I decided to replace it with a new skylake custom mac.

From all computers I build, I realized that I don't need a full ATX or mATX, so I decided to build a ITX skylake (h170n-wifi) with a good processor (i7 6700) and try a Nvidia Graphics Card (gtx 950).

I initially bought a SATA Crucial mx300, but when I realize that the motherboard has a m.2 connector on back I decided order the same ssd but the m.2 version:

Installation

Installation was incredible easy!

1. Build the machine.
2. Connect the UniBeast Sierra USB
3. Load Default Settings on BIOS and change:
- XHCI Handoff to Enabled
- Storage Boot Option Control: UEFI Only
- Initial Display Output: PCIe 1Slot
More details follow that guide - https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...ierra-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.200564/
4. Install OS X.
5. Launch MultiBeast and select the options above.
6. Download EFI Mounter v3; mount EFI Partition; open /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/config.plist with text edit and change NvidiaWeb to "true" - detail info here

I am looking to get a similar build, really want mini-ITX
Checking your case, will a normal GTX 970 fit? (Couldn't find proper dimensions from newegg.com)
Also, could you briefly describe what functions work and what not please?
Thanks!

My gtx 950 is normal size but to fit it you need to buy a smaller psu (SFX size instead of ATX) and an adapter (see my components list). The case is for normal size psu and a small size gpu.

Everything I need is working great! (I dont use iMessage and wifi)

One more thing, does the Wifi work?

I have exactly the same build (except for the i7, i use an i3 6100) and I was thinking of buying the same case (Raijinteck metis). Do you have any feedback about the temperatures, this case is known to be not cooling friendly at all? And concerning the hackintosh part, does sleep work?
Thanx!

To be honest I disable sleep, so I don't know if it is working. I like the case and it seems that doesn't have any problem with temperatures. I think my psu helps on that because is really small and never get high temperatures (I never saw the psu fan turns on).

hey, I'm looking to build in this case for my first build. I want to get handoff/continuity/wifi working and have found an adapter to replace the m.2 wifi card with a broadcomm card

Here's the problem: I think the card will hit the rear 120mm fan on this case. Do you know the distance between the motherboard to the side of the 120mm fan? is it okay if I ask you to take some pictures of the motherboard and rear fan? It would only require you to pull the side panel off.

Thanks in any case

for the sake of clarity, I've attached a picture
