Greetings!

I've been looking at the new Ivy Bridge Builds to get an Avid Pro Tools rig up and running, and was hoping to get some advice from someone here!

Pro Tools 10 only barely supports Mountain Lion, so I'm looking to do a Snow Leopard build just to be on the safe side. Does anyone forsee any difficulties I might have? If the solution is too complicated and "off book", I'll probably just wind up rolling the dice on Mountain Lion, but I figured I'd run it by you guys first.

Sorry for the newbie questions, but hopefully this might help some other Audio folks out as well.

You can't use Snow Leopard with Ivy Bridge systems as Snow Leopard is not compatible with Ivy Bridge CPUs.

If you really need to use Snow Leopard, you should try to find a Sandy Bridge motherboard (Z68 for example) and a Sandy Bridge CPU for your system.
