iTunes Radio not connecting in 10.11?

Hi All,

After a very successful migration last night, I am stuck with a bit of an odd problem. In iTunes, under the "radio" and "connect" tabs, nothing connects to Apple's servers. This was not a problem in 10.10.

When I click any radio station, it looks as if iTunes tries to connect to the stream, but immediately stops. The connect page just shows a bland "could not connect" message. My iPhone can connect to the radio streams fine.

Has anyone else come across this issue in 10.11?

Also have issues at least when i clicked Beats 1 radio my whole system froze. (fully working elcap GM)

I don't really use iTunes radio, but I just checked and its working for me

Hmm okay so it works fine for 1 person and 2 "not working". Anyone else want to try?

I use this feature pretty heavily, unfortunately.

Sign out and back in to iTunes

i had the freeze problem too..
able to fix it by deactivating the internal graphic card... i read somewhere it have todo with the drm protection

It works for me (both a radio station and the Connect tab).

In case it matters, I set the various config.plist fields for iMessage support.

The solution was simple and also posted in this thread - after upgrading to 10.11 from 10.10, log out of you apple ID in iTunes and then log back in. Everything is back to normal.
