iTunes music sync hangs

Hello,

I'm using 10.9.2, latest version of iTunes (which I reinstalled from Apple just to be certain), running on a GA Z87X-D3H board with a GeForce 770 Graphics card.

Anytime I go to transfer songs to my iphone, ipod, ipad, iTunes will freeze and nothing actually gets transferred. A week ago I was getting an error about can't start the sync, but now I am just hanging. On my windows drive, the sync works perfect. I am using the latest multibeast (as of 3/14/14) and have updated all the relevant drivers.

I saw a solution about deleting a sync plist file, but I was unable to find it (using find / -name *sync*) from the terminal so I have not been able to try that solution.

Anyone have this trouble? Thanks for reading.

im having a similar problem, itunes takes about 5mins "preparing to update" it finally does sync, but its a pain when im in a rush and have to go !
